This story give us a much stronger meaning to family and tells us the story of the greatest crime family that existed in Italy-The Borgias. Many secrets of the Mafia have been revealed and readers will be taken to fifteenth century Rome as they turn the pages of this book. Throughout the story, one can see ranges of human emotion, romance, betrayal and even murder. The story revolves around Rodrigo Borgia, Pope Alexander VI, a man who is consumed by his love for his family with everything else falling shortly behind. The novel is said to have been finished by Mario Puzo?s longtime girlfriend, Carol Gino. About Mario Puzo Mario Puzo is best known for his novels on the Mafia. He is an Italian American author and screenwriter. His novel, The Godfather, was adapted into a film of the same name. Some of his works include: The Dark Arena, The Fortunate Pilgrim, Fools Die, The Sicilian and The Last Don.
