Summary of the Book
On a holiday aboard a cruise ship, Tintin runs into the wealthy film director Rastapopoulos and the eccentric Egyptologist Sophocles Sarcophagus. After a misunderstanding with two policemen named Thomson and Thompson, Tintin leaves the ship with Sarcophagus. The Egyptologist is on a hunt for the undiscovered tomb of the Pharaoh Kih-Oskh. Curious, Tintin joins him in his search. When they find the tomb, they are shocked to discover that it is full of boxes of cigars with strange symbols on them. Before they can do anything, they are gassed and fall unconscious. Soon they discover an intricate plot involving drug smuggling. However, what is the link between the drugs and the Pharaoh?s tomb?
