Summary of the Book
When the four of the Five Find-Outers mistake Mr. Goon?s nephew Ern for their friend Fatty, and give him a notebook with Fatty?s name on it for Christmas, Ern goes to Mr. Goon and tells him that they are investigating another mystery. Mr. Goon asks their parents to prevent them from poking their noses in mysteries, and the parents believe the policeman. However, when Ern goes missing on the road to Harry?s Folly, the Five Find-Outers begin to suspect that a mystery has come to them, whether they want it or not.
