Summary of the Book
Idris Maymoon Samataar Guleed travels to Malabar for the Mamangam festival. What he doesn't expect to find is a nine-year old son he had no idea existed. Together they travel and Anita Nair fills the book with details of the world at that point of time. Kandavar, Idris's son, finds himself on a journey that eventually leads to the diamond mines of Golconda, and his mind begins to present premonitions that will come to pass in time, perhaps to disastrous results.
